Some Surprisingly Special Scripture

My summer study ends today. The lives of Rahab and Mary have had a big impact upon my life. God has shown me some beautiful things about these women and it is my deep desire to have the faith that these two ladies in history expressed.

DSC02392mTomorrow morning I am headed to Precept Inductive Bible Study training. I have been looking forward to this weekend for a while and am getting excited to learn this study tool. Again, I know that God will be pointing out some spectacular precepts from His Word. I can’t wait to get there!

Today I thought I’d share a few verses of Scripture that have been special for me over the past four weeks. I look forward to looking at these verses with fresh eyes come Monday morning. I pray that God is at work in your life as strongly as He is in mine!

“With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.” (Mark 10:27 – NIV)

“For nothing is impossible with God.” (Luke 1:37 – NIV)

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.” (Psalm 119:105 – NIV)

“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:11 – NIV)

“The day after the Passover, that very day, they ate some of the produce of the land; unleavened bread and roasted grain. The manna stopped the day after they ate this food from the land; there was no longer any manna for the Israelites, but that year they ate of the produce of Canaan.” (Joshua 5:11-12 – NIV)

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5 – NIV)

I know, these are a strange combination of passages, but these have been set before me over the past few weeks. I pray that God has done the same for you. I pray that He has opened your eyes to some pretty spectacular passages recently. If not, why not ask God to show you something cool today?

Grace and peace be yours in abundance,

Donna
