<\/a>But this wasn\u2019t all that I did. I worked. I fulfilled responsibilities around the house (cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping, etc.). I prepared for Bible study. I touched base with friends and family. I wrote\u2026 lot. I kissed babies and children. I engaged with some who are still living with uncertainty after the flood. And I suspect this list could go on and on.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Yes, I\u2019ve been busy and yes I am tired. But it\u2019s a good tired. I\u2019ve given to those who have needed me to give and it\u2019s been a worthwhile week.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
You\u2019ve heard the saying, \u201ca little work never hurt anyone.\u201d Well it\u2019s true. So today, I\u2019m going to share a few passages of Scripture that speak to work. Maybe you\u2019ll find one that is exactly what you need today.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cFor we are God\u2019s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.\u201d <\/i>(Ephesians 2:10 \u2013 NIV)<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cSpeaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. Form him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.\u201d <\/i>(Ephesians 4:15-16 \u2013 NIV)<\/p>\n
