<\/a>We sang this song in worship yesterday and it doesn\u2019t matter how many times I hear it or sing it, it\u2019s just as touching for me as it was the first time I sang it. Why? Because of the message.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
My life has been twisted and broken, but when I surrender to Jesus, He is able to take all the junk in my life and make my life into something beautiful.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
My favorite line of the song is \u201cshow me Your glory.\u201d I don\u2019t know what stirred within Moses to ask God for this display in Exodus 33:18. God had assured Moses that His presence was with Moses and the children of Israel. But apparently that wasn\u2019t enough. Moses wanted to see God\u2019s glory for himself.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
If you continue to read this passage, God \u201ccaused all his goodness to pass in front of Moses.\u201d (Exodus 33:19) Are there times that all of God\u2019s goodness passes in front of you and you miss it? I know there have been times when I have. I suspect Moses missed it at times as well. Maybe that\u2019s why Moses asked specifically for God to show up in that moment.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve used and heard this phrase a lot in the past few weeks. There have been some difficulties, some joys, some tears. But I believe God has shown me His goodness through each situation. I believe some might call this a Pollyanna attitude, but I am going to call it a God attitude.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Regardless of what I might do each day, when I begin the day with these words, \u201cshow me Your glory,\u201d it will be an amazing day.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
So yes, think of all the lyrics in this song. Acknowledge that Jesus sacrificed everything to save you. Praise Jesus for the brokenness He has fixed. Glorify the name of Jesus Christ. Surrender your life to Him. Rest assured in Jesus. Walk in victory.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
But I would suggest you focus on the words \u201cshow me your glory.\u201d You just might be amazed at how God shows up in your life today.<\/p>\n
