For today, I thought I would share a few verses of Scripture that speak on the topic of God\u2019s Word. I pray that these words will help you to see the importance of being in God\u2019s Word, how God\u2019s Word is relevant in our world today, why you should be applying its words in your life and gaining a better understanding of who God is and the role He desires to play in your life.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cYour word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.\u201d<\/em> (Psalm 119:105 \u2013 NIV)<\/p>\n

\u201cThe grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever.\u201d<\/em> (Isaiah 40:8 \u2013 NIV)<\/p>\n

\u201cAll Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.\u201d<\/em> (2 Timothy 3:16-17 \u2013 NIV)<\/p>\n

\u201cFor the word of God is living active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.\u201d<\/em> (Hebrews 4:12 \u2013 NIV)<\/p>\n
