<\/a>While I was gone, I shared a biblical benediction each day and asked for specific prayer from the benedictions. Benedictions are words of blessings. So over the next few Wednesdays, I thought I would share some of the benedictions. I pray that you will find great comfort in these words of God.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\u201cNow may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.\u201d<\/em> (Hebrews 13:20-21 \u2013 ESV)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cNow may our God and Father himself, and our Lord Jesus, direct our way to you, and may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, as we do for you, so that he may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.\u201d<\/em> (1 Thessalonians 3:11-13 \u2013 ESV)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cAnd the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.\u201d<\/em> (Philippians 4:7 \u2013 ESV)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cBlessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.\u201d<\/em> (2 Corinthians 1:3-4 \u2013 ESV)<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cFinally, brothers, rejoice.
