It\u2019s finally available. A back-ordered item that I have been waiting on for about five months. Shows my patience, right?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The item that is finally available is a journaling Bible. These Bibles have become so popular that they haven\u2019t been available anywhere. Not on any website or in any store that I\u2019ve visited over the past five months! You cannot imagine the excitement I felt when I received the email.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This is what I\u2019ve learned from this experience. I believe people are getting into God\u2019s Word like never before. This Bible journaling craze has gone way beyond art. It has opened the pages of Scripture in a way that is fun and uplifting and it\u2019s all over the internet. So many people are seeing Scripture in a beautiful, new way. It\u2019s pretty remarkable!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But another thing I\u2019ve learned is that now that my journaling Bible is on its way, I don\u2019t know when I\u2019ll have the time to actually sit and enjoy God\u2019s Word in this way. Don\u2019t get me wrong, I\u2019m reading and studying Scripture every single day. I\u2019m gaining wisdom and insight. I glimpse God\u2019s character every time I open the pages of the Bibles I use on a regular basis (which is four by the way). I already get up at 5:00 am every day to spend time in God\u2019s presence and Word. I just don\u2019t know how to add this piece to my life.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But oh how I desire to sit with my colored pencils and doodle on the pages of my newest addition to my Bible collection. Oh how I crave adding my God-thoughts to this special Bible. Someday.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

How and when and how often are you reading God\u2019s precious Words? What are you doing to make Scripture vivid and alive? In what ways are you applying God\u2019s guidelines and precepts to your life?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
