<\/a><\/p>\nNow let\u2019s move on to the spiritual blessings I\u2019ve been given. I\u2019ve been made alive in Jesus Christ. I am adopted into the family of God. I receive God\u2019s strength in my weakness. Jesus will return to take me to a place He has been preparing. My sin and shame have been tossed into the deepest depths of the sea and God doesn\u2019t remember them. Of course there are many more, but I\u2019ll stop with this last one. I\u2019ve been saved by grace.<\/p>\n

Paul tells us these words in Ephesians 2:8-9 (NIV). \u201cFor it is by grace you have been saved, through faith\u2014and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God\u2014not by works, so that no one can boast.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Even though I have all of these blessings listed above, before Jesus became the Lord of my life, there was really nothing to boast about. I was just like the recipients of those who heard Isaiah\u2019s words. \u201cAll of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away.\u201d <\/em>(Isaiah 64:6 \u2013 NIV)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n It is only by God\u2019s grace that I have been saved. The before and after picture is pretty remarkable.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n So today, let\u2019s think about the grace that God has given and the fact that we are saved by His grace. And we might as well take a look at a great song to go along with this idea. \u201cSaved by Grace\u201d is an uplifting, fun reminder that God\u2019s grace is greater than all our sin.
