Maybe you\u2019re in the same boat as I am today, but I could use a shot of encouragement from Scripture. So today, I\u2019m going to remind myself (and you) of some truths from God\u2019s Word. I pray that God will find you right where you are.<\/p>\n

\"1340158443410\"<\/a>\u201cWe are hard-pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.\u201d<\/em> (2 Corinthians 4:8-9 \u2013 NIV)<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cI know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through him who gives me strength.\u201d<\/em> (Philippians 4:12-13 \u2013 NIV)<\/p>\n

\u201cBut one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.\u201d<\/em> (Philippians 3:13b-14 \u2013 NIV)<\/p>\n

\u201cI have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.\u201d<\/em> (John 16:33 \u2013 NIV)<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the good life\u2014my heart is glad, my soul is full of joy, and my body is at rest. Who could want for more? You will not abandon me to experience death and the grave or leave me to rot alone. Instead, you direct me on the path that leads to a beautiful life.
