<\/p>\n The repeated blog post you\u2019ll read today is about one of my favorite songs. I am touched each time I hear it or sing it or dance to it. It is that deep desire to earnestly seek God at all times, because He is all that I need.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Blessings upon your day.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cLord, I Need You\u201d \u2013 Monday Musical Musings<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n In our world of self-sufficiency, it can sometimes be difficult to understand that we really aren\u2019t self-sufficient. When it comes to our relationship with God, we desperately need Him.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Today\u2019s melody teaches us this valuable lesson. Each moment of every day, our souls long for God. We need God.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Take a look at David\u2019s words from an artistic version of Scripture called The Voice<\/em>. While this is still very new to me and I will continue looking at this version, Psalm 40:17 is beautiful in this version.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cMeanwhile, I am empty and need so much, but I know the Lord is thinking of me. You are my help; only You can save me, my True God. Please hurry.\u201d<\/em> (Psalm 40:17 \u2013 The Voice)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Doesn\u2019t this reflect our own lives? Sometimes we wait until we are bone dry to seek God and then we ask Him to hurry! Oh how we need to be reminded that we need God all the time. Each hour of every day we need Him to show up in our lives, not just when we\u2019ve hit a rough patch.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n So today, take a look at the words and listen to the recording of this song.
