I read through that prayer again this morning and realized that I had landed in that arena. Oh I look busy spiritually. I do Bible study. I lead Bible study. I journal. I talk about God. I talk to God. But I think I lean more on the lazy side of my spiritual development.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/fullmeasureofjoy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/DSCN0253.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-3165 \" style=\"border: 3px solid #000000; margin-left: 10px; margin-right: 10px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fullmeasureofjoy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/DSCN0253-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"???????????????????????????????\" width=\"263\" height=\"197\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fullmeasureofjoy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/DSCN0253-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/fullmeasureofjoy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/DSCN0253.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 263px) 100vw, 263px\" \/><\/a>This week, I went through two days of learning how to lead others on a spiritual formation path. I suspect if I\u2019m going to be leading it, I better be living it!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So before I lead a group of ladies this fall, I will begin this journey on my own. I will begin to answer the questions, \u201cWho am I?\u201d and \u201cWho is God?\u201d and \u201cWhat does God want to do through me?\u201d Understanding these questions will help me with my spiritual walk with the Lord. I look forward to seeing how God answers these questions in light of my personal spiritual formation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>God has answered this prayer over and over throughout my life. I\u2019m thankful this morning that He has revealed a weak link in my spiritual armor. Laziness. For me, it\u2019s time to get busy!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>What about you? Are you spiritually lazy? If so, what steps do you need to take to get out of that spiritual slump? If you feel confident in your walk with the Lord, are there ways that you can grow closer to Him? Is there someone you know who could use some encouragement from you as they journey through their spiritual walk?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I pray that God\u2019s Spirit will be at work in your life today and that you will recognize His promptings.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cFor this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge\u2014that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to the power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!
