<\/a>But I also know that in each season of my life, God has been with me as well. Through loneliness, physical and emotional pain, turmoil, unrest, drought, joy, abundance, health, worship and peace. The blessings and the difficult, God has been with me.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
And He has been with you through every season of your life as well. That\u2019s just one thing I love about our God. He is bigger and grander and more powerful and immeasurably more than my brain can comprehend. And He is the God in the seasons of this earth.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Who put the stars in place and doesn\u2019t let them wander? He did. Who tells the moon when to show up each night? He does. Who draws the line in the sand to keep the ocean from overtaking the land? He does that as well. Yes, the God who loves you more than you could ever imagine has another job\u2026He keeps creation on task.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
So here\u2019s today\u2019s poem that reminds us of His glorious creation. I pray that you will enjoy it.<\/p>\n

Lord,
\nIn Spring we are reminded
\nof the magnificence of Your creation,
\nas the earth is covered in verdant green,
\nwith splendid splashes of color,
\nand we witness birth everywhere,
\nof animals bearing their young,
\nof buds turning into leaves and flowers
\nand our own moods being reborn
\nwith renewed energy and life.<\/p>\n
Lord,
\nin Summer, we remember
\nthe warmth of Your love for us
\nand the light of Your goodness.
\nBoth are everywhere for those who look.
\nThank You for butterflies,
\nbirds and wildlife for us to enjoy,
\nwater to swim in,
\nand weather that frees us to romp and play
\nwhile outdoor pleasures are at their peak.<\/p>\n
Lord,
\nIn Fall, we thank you for Your cooling breezes,
\nthat bring relief from the relentless summer heat.
\nWe see bright colors fading and dying,
\nleaves turning brown, crisp, disintegrating,
\nonly to be reborn next year,
\nreminding us that every living thing, including us,
\nmust die in some way before being reborn.<\/p>\n
Lord,
\nIn Winter, as white snow blankets the ground,
\nwe are reminded of Your purity and Your perfection.
\nThe complexity and beauty of each single snowflake
\nonly hints at Your transcendent intelligence and creativity.
\nWe hunker down and snuggle in,
\nknowing this season will wind down
\nand Spring will reappear, as it always has
\nbecause You created an orderly, predictable universe,
\nnot by chance, but from your flawless design.<\/p>\n
Thank You for the seasons, Lord,
\nand everything in them
\nthat You created for our enjoyment.<\/p>\n
