<\/a>So today I thought I\u2019d mess with you (or more likely me) and post another song. I need to be pumped up for the day ahead, as well as the weekend.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\u201cOvercomer\u201d by Mandisa is a new song to me, but I love the pep and the beat, but I especially like the lyrics. Why? Because we are overcomers in Jesus Christ. Romans 8:37 (NIV) reminds us that because of what Jesus did for each of us, \u201c\u2026we are more than conquerors…\u201d<\/em> And if you want different verbiage, let\u2019s look at it in the New Living Translation. \u201c\u2026overwhelming victory is ours\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Through Jesus Christ we are able to overcome more than we could possibly imagine. Why? Because He is already victorious (John 16:33; 1 John 4:4)!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n So as you go about your day today, remember who you belong to and what He has done for you.
