So I pulled out the old hymnal and read through them. I was not disappointed in their meaning to my life and I might add, to yours.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The love that God and Christ has shown to mankind is beyond words, but the Apostle Paul tried to give us a good picture in Romans 8:38-39 (NIV). <em>\u201cFor I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>How awesome!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/fullmeasureofjoy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Canyon.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-6129 size-medium\" style=\"border: 3px solid #000000; margin-left: 10px; margin-right: 10px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fullmeasureofjoy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Canyon-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"canyon\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fullmeasureofjoy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Canyon-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/fullmeasureofjoy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Canyon-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/fullmeasureofjoy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Canyon-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/fullmeasureofjoy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Canyon.jpg 1698w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>As I stood at the edge of a canyon in Moab, Utah this past weekend, I was separated from the ledge on the other side by an enormous cavern, a deep river and many rock formations. But even that could not separate me from God\u2019s love. Those precious moments this past weekend helped me to see the vast love of my heavenly Father.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So today, I offer the lyrics to \u201cO Love That Will Not Let Me Go.\u201d<a href=\"#_edn1\" name=\"_ednref1\">[i]<\/a> I pray that you will find some encouragement.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>O Love that will not let me go, I rest my weary soul in Thee;<\/p>\n<p>I give Thee back the life I owe, that in Thine ocean depths its flow<\/p>\n<p>May richer, fuller be.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>O Light that foll\u2019west all my way, I yield my flick\u2019ring torch to Thee;<\/p>\n<p>My heart restores its borrowed ray, that in Thy sunshine\u2019s blaze its day<\/p>\n<p>May brighter, fairer be.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>O Joy that sleekest me thru pain, I cannot close my heart to Thee;<\/p>\n<p>I trace the rainbow thru the rain, and feel the promise is not vain<\/p>\n<p>That morning tearless be.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>O Cross that liftest up my head, I dare not ask to fly from Thee;<\/p>\n<p>I lay in dust life\u2019s glory dead, and from the ground there blossoms red<\/p>\n<p>Life that shall endless be.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Grace and peace be yours in abundance,<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Donna<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#_ednref1\" name=\"_edn1\">[i]<\/a> \u201cO Love That Will Not Let Me Go,\u201d words and music by George Matheson and Albert L.
