I asked what special meal he wanted and I expected to hear \u201cspaghetti.\u201d That was and is the meal he usually requests.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/fullmeasureofjoy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/DSC04199.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-903\" style=\"border: 3px solid black; margin: 10px;\" title=\"DSC04199\" src=\"https:\/\/fullmeasureofjoy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/DSC04199-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>Oh imagine my surprise when he said, \u201cSwiss chicken.\u201d This recipe is one that I first ate at Butler Spring Church Camp for a women\u2019s retreat. It was yummy and they had received so many requests for this recipe, they simply posted it on the bulletin board for all to copy.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve been making it ever since and it became a hit with my whole family. Mom started making it often and it landed in her cookbook. I heard this week that my aunt made it for her crew.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So I thought my next \u201cfamily\u201d recipe would be Swiss Chicken. From God\u2019s family to my family to your family, I pray that you\u2019ll enjoy this delicious treat as much as we have through the years. Enjoy!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><strong>Swiss Chicken<a href=\"https:\/\/fullmeasureofjoy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/DSC04202.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-904\" style=\"border: 3px solid black; margin: 10px;\" title=\"DSC04202\" src=\"https:\/\/fullmeasureofjoy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/DSC04202-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>6 chicken breasts<\/p>\n<p>1 (10 \u00be oz.) can cream of chicken soup<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd (10 oz.) can carnation milk<\/p>\n<p>4 slices Swiss cheese<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd pkg. Pepperidge Farm stuffing (herb only)<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd stick butter<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mix \u00bd stick butter, melted, with stuffing. Layer in 9\u201d x 13\u201d greased pan in order given.
