One of my fellow Christian bloggers who I\u2019ve never met, but enjoy reading her material, handles her blog in a much different way than I do. Actually, most bloggers do. There is a theme for each day of the week and they stick to that plan.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I\u2019ve thought about doing something similar for my blog, but I\u2019ve been hesitant. You see, I don\u2019t know how that would work. I suspect God could get on board with a plan like that, but I\u2019m not sure I could. So until I am willing to commit to something different, I\u2019ll continue on the way I started. Write what comes to mind.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>There is one element that I enjoy on Kirra\u2019s blog that appears each Thursday. It\u2019s called Think About it Thursday. She offers a verse of Scripture and asks her audience to think about it. How it affects them. How it might make a difference in their life. What the verse means to them. I think you understand.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

So this morning, I thought I might try it here. Instead of me telling you what a passage means and how it should make an impact on your life, I\u2019d like to hear what you think about a passage.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Now I know my audience. There is rarely any communication back and forth between us. So read the passage, and then think about it. Reflect upon it throughout the day and week. Listen for God\u2019s voice in this hustling, bustling world of noise and come to an understanding that is personal. Then if you chose to share, I\u2019d love to hear from you.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Read through the verses I\u2019ve chosen and if you get a chance, write them down where you can look at them throughout the week. Might I even suggest these are a few verses to memorize! That may not be your goal, but thinking about God\u2019s Word throughout your day should be. This is a great way to get started.<\/p>\n

\u201cSince, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.\u201d<\/em> (Colossians 3:1-3 \u2013 NIV)<\/p>\n
