Frustration

Have you ever been frustrated over a project or an object? That seems to be how my morning has gone. I’m working on a handout for church tomorrow morning and much of the project is not turning out the way I planned.

???????????????????????????????It wasn’t just me this morning. My husband needed to get a tiny piece of plastic out of another piece of plastic…it was frustrating. He knew there had to be a trick, but couldn’t figure it out.

Now we all know that people can be frustrating as well. Perhaps these are the times that are most difficult for us. But if we look at Scripture, there are a lot of words that speak to this topic. Take a look.

“Do to others as you would have them do to you.” (Luke 6:31 – NIV)

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2 – NIV)

“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” (Ephesians 4:2 – NIV)

“Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” (Colossians 3:13 – NIV)

And here are a few passages to look up about loving one another: John 13:34-35; 1 Corinthians 13; 1 Peter 4:8; and 1 John 4:7-8.

Eventually, Mason got his frustration cured. The piece finally popped out. For me, I’m still working. UGH!

Grace and peace be yours in abundance,

Donna
