Philippians 4:4 – Word of God Wednesday

If you’ve noticed, I close each blog post with the phrase, “Grace and peace be yours in abundance.” Peter uses these words at the beginning of 1 and 2 Peter. (1 Peter 1:2 and 2 Peter 1:2)

DSC04480A couple of weeks ago I received an email from a gal who is new to women’s ministry as well. Her request was to get to together and chat about women’s ministry ideas. Of course, I was excited to do so and replied, closing my email with my signature phrase.

She was so excited for the idea. She began her search for her special phrase and yesterday, I received an email from her that closed with “Rejoice!” (Philippians 4:4) followed by an explanation that she had chosen this single word as a reminder to be joyful.

Just another example of how our words (specifically God’s Words) can make a difference in someone’s life. Who do you need to share a verse of Scripture with today?

Grace and peace be yours in abundance,

Donna
