“We Fall Down” – Monday Musical Musings

How do you feel about spending time in worship with me this morning? This song came to mind today and I wanted to praise God, so let’s do this together.

???????????????????????????????This song is simple and short and yet, there is such deep meaning to these lyrics. It reminds us that we are to be submissive to Jesus. It reminds us that we are to give Jesus everything…all of us as well as all that we have, and even the rule over our own lives. It reminds us of God’s great love for us and the wide expanse of His mercy.

And when we recognize these things, our response is to cry out in worship. “Holy, holy, holy.” That’s who God and Jesus are. They are holy.

Yes, there aren’t many lyrics here, but what is here is powerful. So let’s worship this morning. Let’s worship the One who is worthy of or praise. Jesus!

“We Fall Down”[i]

We fall down

We lay our crowns

At the feet of Jesus

The greatness of

Mercy and love

At the feet of Jesus

And we cry holy, holy, holy

We cry holy, holy, holy

We cry holy, holy, holy

Is the lamb

We fall down

We lay our crowns

At the feet of Jesus

The greatness of

Your mercy and love

At the feet of Jesus

And we cry holy, holy, holy

We cry holy, holy, holy

We cry holy, holy, holy

Is the lamb

And we cry holy, holy, holy

We cry holy, holy, holy

We cry holy, holy, holy

Is the lamb

We cry holy, holy, holy

We cry holy, holy, holy

We cry holy, holy, holy

Is the lamb
