:-(

My grandkids have been pretty sick over the past 6 months or so. Several bouts of strep throat, fever, and croup have invaded their tiny bodies. Thankfully the baby hasn’t been affected by these illnesses, until last night.

Little Leslieanna woke up with a fever and croup and was having difficulty breathing. A trip to the emergency room helped alleviate some of the symptoms, but she is still a sick little one.

So this morning, I’d like to share a passage of Scripture for all the parents and grandparents who are dealing with sickness today. Some are going through much more than croup, so I pray that this will be an encouragement to you as it has to me.

“I lift up my eyes to the hills—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

“He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

“The Lord watches over you—the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.

“The Lord will keep you from harm—he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” (Psalm 121:1-8 – NIV)

Grace and peace be yours in abundance,

Donna
