2 Corinthians 4:16-18 – Word of God Wednesday

I have friends and family who are struggling with life. Life is hard. We live in a world that isn’t easy. But just as this passage of Scripture tells us, we must not lose heart.

DSC00374Part of the reason for not losing heart is for others to see how we respond, react and reengage. When our heart and sights are set on Jesus, He is able to help us through these tough times. We find daily renewal and strength to face each day. And those who witness our determination not to be crushed or destroyed will be encouraged to do the same.

Today, I pray that you will find encouragement in knowing that Jesus is with you and that your outward struggle is temporary. Please, do not lose heart!

“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:16-18 – NIV)

Grace and peace be yours in abundance,

Donna
