We (as in my church, Rocky Mountain Christian Church) started a new message series this past Sunday from the book of James called No Excuses. There is small group material to go along with the message series and there are new groups launching all over our area this week.

I’m excited to join about 10 ladies this evening to begin this adventure together. What’s the topic for the first week? Trials of course! So I want to share the passage of Scripture that we will be working through this evening. Maybe you have some thoughts about this passage. If so, let me know!

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” (James 1:2-4 – NIV)
