Oh how I need God’s Holy Spirit today! Of course I need Him every day, but I could use an exceptional amount of His help today. I’m in a state of unrest and my heart and soul are uneasy. So when I heard this song this morning, I knew it was exactly what I needed.

I love the lyrics of this song. They are reminders of who the Holy Spirit and what He is able to do in my life. He is my Comforter. He is my Friend. What a blessing the Holy Spirit is.

And what I really love about this song are these reminders:

1. I need a downpour!
2. My heart is changeable by the Holy Spirit
3. I can stand on God’s Word with the help of His Spirit
4. God can do remarkable things through people who allow God’s Spirit to work through them
5. God has got it…no need for me to meddle

I pray that this song will be powerful for you today as well. It’s just the reminder I needed!
